Ecologically-minded - oraïse uses green power from LichtBlick
Green electricity provider LichtBlick has supplied oraïse with green power since September 2011, enabling oraïse to take a clear stance when it comes to sustainability together with the independent energy supplier.
The Hamburg-based power provider delivers 204,565 kilowatt hours of electricity from hydropower and biomass to oraïse annually. In comparison: This is the amount of energy used by around 73 average private households in Germany each year. The switch to certified green power saves oraïse 103.28 tons of carbon dioxide every year.
“We are pleased to add oraïse to our list of business consumers who have decided to support the immediate phase-out of nuclear power with LichtBlick,” says LichtBlick spokesman Ralph Kampwirth.
Numerous businesses are already making an important contribution to protecting the environment with LichtBlick. For instance, corporations like Citroen, Globetrotter and Puma receive their electricity from the market leader in green energy. Last year alone, the energy provider supplied 2,600 million kilowatt hours of power to 600,000 private and business consumers.
