oraïse GmbH employee recognized by the Hermann-Leverenz-Stiftung

Stefan Storch, member of the Hermann-Leverenz-Stiftung administrative board, honored a total of 40 apprentices during a festive event held by the Hermann-Leverenz-Stiftung at the Bremen Chamber of Commerce. The apprentices were recognized for their apprenticeship achievements. Since its founding in 1965 the Hermann-Leverenz-Stiftung has supported the career training of young business men and women. To date, the foundation has awarded 1095 graduates prize money for their extraordinary exam results. Artur Hallmann (23) received the award for his excellent results in the final exam to becoming an IT Specialist in the area of Application Development.

“We’re really proud,” said Thomas Viohl, managing partner at oraïse GmbH. “Artur Hallmann receiving the award confirms the work we’ve been doing for years. Having satisfied and motivated employees who are willing to deliver excellent results is our greatest capital,” explained Viohl.

“We’re not resting on our laurels! We highly value team orientation and individual freedom in our employees, we think and act with sustainability and the future in mind so that we can continue to meet our demands on quality and long-term viability,” Viohl concluded.

At present oraïse successfully supports Reuters with 11 hosted RMDS-platforms from marketdata platforms for trading floors to treasury departments.
More r-Host projects are to come this year.

User numbers range from 30 to 300 and featured Reuters products are among others RMDS, MLIP, RWDS and RTCE - there´s more to come.
Additionally oraïse maintains 3 hosting concepts including desktop virtualisation using Citrix tools - with full integration of client-owned applications and requirements.

All customers and hosting center sites are proactively and centrally maintained by the oraïse Remote Maintenance Center on duty from 7:00 AM to 11:00 PM.

The advantage for the customer is a solution that delivers the complete service from one source. With r-host the customer can rely on guaranteed availability, proactive system management and scalable services.

The content of the MiFID guideline of the European Union (Markets in Financial Instruments Directive) will be binding for German banks, savings banks and financial services companies after it is implemented into German law from Autumn 2007.

The regulations will partly make important changes to the existing sequences and systems for the whole securities business necessary and in particular strongly affect the private customer business.
